Aeroflex IFR ATC-600A Transponder Test Set

The ATC-600A is a portable ramp test set designed to simulatethe ground station or airborne environment needed to test Modes A and Ctransponders. The ATC-600A meets latest ARINC specificationsand FAA regulations concerning transponder receiver sensitivity, SLS,transmitter power, frequency, percent reply, pilot's code and encodedaltitude tests.For DME testing, the ATC-600A includes accurate range and velocitysimulation, power and frequency and PRF measurements.
  • Measures transponder frequency and checks for correct DME channel
  • Digital readout of XPDR code and altitude
  • Binary pulse information for code and altitude
  • Front panel connector provides direct check of altitude encoders
  • Checks position of XPDR second framing pulse relative to F1
  • Precision DME range and velocity signals, both X and Y channel
  • Internal battery and battery charge
